Yes!
July 13, 2010 was our 6 year anniversary. To surprise Chase I bought us TOM PETTY tickets! It was fate that "our" band was playing at the Sprint Center on our anniversary day! We have been to Tom Petty every time he has played since we have been together! Our song is "Here Comes my Girl." So I wrote a little note and put the tickets out for him to see when he woke up Tuesday morning.
At the very end of the day he text me and told me he had dinner reservations at a surprise restaurant. The Majestic was amazing! It is really low key with a piano player and candles on the tables. The food was amazing, filet mignon, so good! After we pay we are hanging around the table finishing our wine, Chase said he didnt want to get to the concert to early. This is not Chase at all, he is always early places. I didnt really think anything of it. Then he took my left hand and slowly slipped down on one knee and asked me to MARRY HIM! I was in shock, I didnt even say yes or anything at first. Chase had to tell me to answer his question. I shouted YES! and we stood up and kissed a lot in the middle of the restaurant. It was completely like a dream. I could not even believe it was real, it still feels like a dream. The night went perfect with one surprise after another. Chase got us a hotel room at the Hilton President and had a dozen roses waiting for me. It was a perfect night!
